Lions learn inside and outside of the classroom! We are so grateful to have teachers like the talented Mrs. Farmer, who welcomed our preschoolers to join in as she demonstrated a rain gauge in the garden with her fourth graders this week.
Last week, we celebrated students who have missed ZERO days of school! Wow! Later this month, we will celebrate students who have missed 0-1 days of school. Students who consistently attend school become stronger readers, writers, & problem solvers. Attendance matters!
We had our first 2023-24 school-wide assembly today as we kicked off our Fall fundraiser! Students have information in their backpacks about how you can purchase some special items & support the school at the same time. We look forward to more awesome assemblies this year!
Fourth grade students are studying the regions of Virginia, while painting coastal region scenes during their art class. We love seeing our hallways fill up with your creations as the year continues!
This week, we kicked off Kindness Lunch in the library! Students earn a special invite with their behavior towards others. We love seeing our Lions be kind-hearted citizens!
